Stepping on to the pageant stage for the first time in 2016, Nicole won the title of Mrs. Illinois International, along with "Best in Fitness," "Best Evening Gown," and "Overall Interview Winner." She went on to place First Runner-Up at the 2016 Mrs. International Pageant that year. She also won "Overall Interview" out of 62 contestants.
In 2018, Nicole won the title of Mrs. USA Universe in Atlanta, Georgia at the Mrs. Transcontinental Pageant under the direction of Sabrina Pinon. Nicole was honored to be chosen to represent the United States of America in Cebu, Philippines at the 12th Annual Mrs. Universe Pageant where she placed First Runner-Up out of 88 contestants from all over the world. She also was immensely honored to win both the 2018 Mrs. Universe Humanitarian Award for her platform work in the community and Mrs. Universe Most Photogenic.
Nicole has an extensive performance, dance & modeling background having danced with the AFL’s Chicago Rush and the NBA’s Chicago Bulls. She has over 20 years of professional experience in the entertainment industry. Her strengths include speaking on camera, radio and in live arena settings. She truly enjoys teaching the art of natural public speaking to her clients. Through those unique experiences, she’s been honored to be hired as a public spokesperson and ambassador for many national and international companies, routinely appearing on TV and radio even today. Nicole currently works as a reporter for the Comcast show Community Connection, and with ZZAZZ Productions as a runway model.
Most recently, Nicole was included on the 2020 list for “Top 15 Most Influential Women in Pageantry.” In 2018 and 2016 she was included on Pageant Planet's Top 10 lists for both "Best Mrs. Evening Gown" and "Best Mrs. Fitness." She also was named one of Chicago’s “Most Inspiring People” by Voyage Chicago Magazine. This past fall, Nicole was honored to be chosen to speak on the 2019 Lucy Hobbs Project “Healthy Mindset” Panel.
Nicole lives in Chicago with her husband Dr. Christopher Zwiercan, their 6-year old son Cristiano, and 3- year old daughter Ashlynn Grace.
